The Latest: People For Voters Alliance Endorses Obama
June 5, 2008 — With the conclusion of the presidential primary season, the People For the American Way Voters Alliance today announced its endorsement of presumptive nominee Barack Obama in the 2008 race for President of the United States, and called for progressives to unite in support of his candidacy.

People For the American Way Voters Alliance is the connected political action committee of People For the American Way, the nation’s leading progressive advocacy organization working towards a nation of diversity, liberty, and opportunity. The Voters Alliance is dedicated to electing fair-minded leaders to Congress and the White House, and to defeating those who have aligned themselves with radical-right ideologies. Through the Voters Alliance, PFAW members and others can support our endorsed candidates and make a difference in key races.
In particular, the Voters Alliance is working to hold United States Senators accountable for their votes supporting far-right judicial nominees, like the Chief Justice of the United States, John Roberts, and Associate Justice Samuel Alito.
